The Loch Goil Locals

I had a restless night .. so got up at 5 in the morning .. put my boating gear in the car .. and went to Loch Goil.

It turned out to be one of my best impulsive days boating yet.

A freezing fog cleared as I launched the boat ..

I enjoyed the sighting of a fog bow . .reflected on flat calm waters

And watching some of the local wildlife...

Mid week winter boating is a sure way to enjoy the peace and quiet of having the sea to yourself.

My worries disappeared with the tide and I will sleep well tonight.

Hope you enjoy watching my day unfold in the video.
